B 4.3. Scrolled parchment

When parchment sheets are stored in scrolls, they lack the damage that occurs when the parchment sheets are bound or folded. The main damage occurs at the ends of the scrolls and the adjacent area inside the scroll. Storing the scrolls in cases can significantly reduce the damage caused by the external environment.
